Introduction

Environmental Management offers research and opinions on the use and conservation of natural resources, habitat protection, and hazard control across the field of environmental management without strict disciplinary boundaries. The journal aims to improve communication by making ideas and results from diverse fields accessible to practitioners from other backgrounds. Contributions come from biology, botany, chemistry, climatology, ecology, ecological economics, environmental engineering, fisheries, environmental law, forest sciences, geosciences, information science, public affairs, public health, toxicology, zoology, and more.As humanity is the principal user of nature, it bears responsibility for ensuring environmental impacts are benign rather than catastrophic. Environmental Management presents work from academic researchers and professionals outside universities, including business, government, research establishments, and public interest groups, offering a broad spectrum of viewpoints and approaches.
