Introduction

JGPS has been a forum for original research and discussion in the philosophy of science since its first volume was published in 1970. The journal covers general philosophy of science as well as specialized philosophies of specific sciences (broadly understood as “Wissenschaft”), including philosophy of physics, chemistry, biology, social sciences and economics, engineering disciplines, and the humanities.
