Introduction

Biomechanics and Modeling in Mechanobiology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Springer that focuses on the integration of biomechanics and mechanobiology across multiple biological scales. Established in 2002, the journal publishes theoretical, computational, and experimental studies that explore how mechanical forces influence biological systems, including cellular behavior, tissue remodeling, and organ-level function. It serves as a platform for interdisciplinary research combining engineering, physics, and life sciences, aiming to advance understanding of the mechanical environment in health and disease. The journal is indexed in major databases and maintains a strong impact factor, reflecting its influence in biomedical engineering and computational biology.
