Introduction

The Journal of Computational Electronics brings together research on all aspects of modeling and simulation of modern electronics. This includes optical, electronic, mechanical, and quantum mechanical aspects, as well as research on the underlying mathematical algorithms and computational details.Related areas include energy conversion/storage and molecular and biological systems, focusing on charge transport, electronic, mechanical, and optical properties.Manuscripts are encouraged on device simulation; optical and optoelectronic systems and photonics; energy storage (batteries, fuel cells) and harvesting (photovoltaic); simulation of circuits, VLSI layout, logic and architecture (e.g., CMOS devices, quantum-cellular automata, QBITs, single-electron transistors); electromagnetic simulations (microwave electronics and components); and molecular and biological systems.
